So basically, I have become a blog addict. By that I mean I stalk everyone else's blogs, especially Jerusalem blogs to figure out what kinds of clothes I'm supposed to wear. I leave in approximately 43 days but who's counting? As I was sitting in bed, not going to class, I had an epiphany. Everyone in the world is doing something exciting with their lives. I remembered this picture that was taken when my mom came to the lovely city of Provo. Every single person in this picture abandoned me in Provo to go live more exciting lives. H Rob is in London having a jolly good time. She's just doing typical British things: drinking tea with the queen, riding the London Eye 80 times a day, playing soccer with David Beckham, and walking her pet corgis around the city. Shelby is in Germany riding horses. I actually don't know what she's doing because I temporarily deactivated my facebook and since I don't have an iphone unknowingly cut off all forms of communication with her so that's sad. However, I am 100% sure that Germany is more exciting than Provo and she is having the greatest time and taking the coolest pictures. Maren's still in Utah but she's becoming a real ife nurse! She'll be done with school in no time. She also still manages to do more fun things than me despite being ridiculously busy with nursing school.
My mom left me for very understandable reasons. First of all there wasn't room in my apartment for her to stay. Second of all she had to go take care of them:
So obviously, they need all the help they can get. None of them could survive without her. Also her life is way more exciting than mine because dogs are involved and they are the cutest dogs in the world.
So I am super jealous about the exciting things everyone else is doing. However, I realized my summer is going to be the greatest experience of my life. I am going to be in Jerusalem. I am going to be in the land I have grown up learning all about. I will be walking where Christ walked. I will be able to read the Bible in Hebrew in the land it kind of came from. It will be the greatest thing ever and I can't wait for people to blog about how jealous of me they are this summer. Face it, it will happen.
