100 Years Later...Yes I'm Still Alive

So I am the worst blogger and communicator on Earth. However, I updated my blog and made it really pretty and I'll be an exceptional blogger for the next few weeks to make up for it. A special apology to my #1 follower, Jack. I have wonderful new posts in the works though so I will try my hardest to make up for it. Here's what you loyal, wonderful blog followers have missed:
  1. Turkey
  2. Jordan
  3. Random Jerusalem Adventures
  4. Camel Riding
  5. Galilee
  6. My Birthday
  7. Separation Wall
  8. Bethlehem
I will try to make up for lost time and stay current so it will be a difficult task, but as a now 21 year old, I know that I am up for this impossible task. I'll probably just find some of the blogs that belong to my friends here and copy theirs so if my narrator writing voice changes that's why. Odds are slim that will happen though because I do not want to be sued for plagiarism. I return in exactly 3 weeks to the United States of America and it's a bittersweet feeling to go home. It will be so sad to not be able to look out my window and see the Dome of the Rock or walk to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (my favorite place in Jerusalem) every day. However, I miss bacon and cheeseburgers and non-kosher pizza and mexican food sooooo much so that will be a very exciting part of returning home. If you have any blog requests, I will accept them. If you want me to talk more about something or go somewhere specific email me or comment on here so I can do that. After all, my blog is here to serve you loyal followers. I'll have a new post done in a few hours with pictures so check back very shortly. It will be a good one. I promise.

Also sidenote about the picture that is now part of my title. I took this picture and it is one of my all time favorite pictures. It perfectly captures what Jerusalem is. The big wall that you can see is the Western Wall so all of those people in the corner praying are Jews there to pray, read scripture, and worship. Behind the Western Wall, one of the most sacred Jewish sites, you can see the Dome of the Rock, one of the most sacred Islamic sites. Fun fact for you: the Western Wall is so revered because it dates back to the 2nd Temple Period. Jews refuse to go onto the Temple Mount (Where the Dome of the Rock now is) because they do not want to desecrate the sanctity because Jews are uncertain as to where the Holy of Holies actually was. Anyway, I just love the idea that so many people come together to worship in their own ways.
